I applied online. I interviewed at Knihobot & Bookbot (Prague) in Sept 2025
Interview
1st online interview was conducted with an HR representative and an AI recording tool (in the email, the HR representative was listed as a participant, not the AI recording).
2nd interview was in person and took place with an HR representative and the operations director. Questions that were supposed to focus on previous jobs and practical experience were barely asked. Instead, they were very interested in whether I had applied for positions at other companies, which positions, and as precisely as possible. They were also interested in what my worst day at work looked like and how I handled a situation when something went wrong. My answer—that I tried to resolve it on my own, learn from it, and pass the experience on—was not sufficient for them. On the contrary, they wanted to know details. When I repeated that these were company production matters that I could not disclose, they still kept pushing to extract the information from me. To me, this interview felt like an interrogation, and I have never encountered anything like this before. From my point of view, it was unprofessional and I do not recommend it.
