This was by far the most efficient and well-organized interview process I had during the Great Gaming Recession of 2024, so accepting my offer was a no-brainer.
My interview loop was: the chief of staff, the CEO/founder, the current project manager, and the heads of marketing/art.
There were only 4 stages including the screener, and each featured pretty standard questions around knowledge of my craft and my personality.
My interview with the CEO ended up being very conversational and we had a great rapport. We ended up just talking shop about gaming and the opportunities in the education space, which I am not as familiar with. He had a solid vision and a lot of market knowledge, which gave me a lot of faith in their direction and ability to weather the current economic climate.
