I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Kraken Digital Asset Exchange
Interview
Disorganized from the jump. The recruiter had to move the call back several times leading to a 3 week period just to have the initial call.
Once on the call it was easy to quickly see that this was an organization that suffered a massive case of brand blindness. The recruiter, we can call him G, labeled himself as a “true technical mind” but then spent the next 20 minutes reading star rubric questions off the screen. Way to hold a fluid conversation down, G.
At the tail end of the call it was completely about why should this company be interested in YOU. Nothing about why you should be interested in the company. This is why I say this company suffers from brand blindness. Oh, and let’s not forget the lengthy 3 day assignment they asked for (it might help if this brilliant technically inclined recruiter understood what the term time boxing ment, but that’s for another day).
So hopefully it’s easy to understand why I had 1 foot out the door during the entire call. And stop exploiting the desperate in a bad labor market by asking them to do unpaid work for you. But why should anyone be shocked a crypto company is exploiting people.
