I encountered one of the most nonchalant and inflated attitudes I've ever seen in an interview setting. At the end, they mentioned, 'We want to hire people for the right reason'—a statement that felt confusing and unwarranted, as I had given no reason for such a response. The worst part came afterward: they promised to follow up, but instead ghosted me, ignoring all of my emails.
