I was in a process for a senior role. I had two interviews and then completely ghosted. I sent 3 follow-ups over a month long period and no response from the senior people leader who was running the process. Obviously I have now given up! Its absolutely fine to reject a candidate after an interview, or for circumstances to change - but its unprofessional and disrespectful to candidates that are in a process for several months to never communicate with them again and ignore all follow ups. Its a real shame as some of the people I met were great, and from the outside at least, they seem like a great company. There is however something very wrong with the hiring processes in this team.
