I applied in-person. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at LA Fitness (Riverside, CA) in Feb 2015
Interview
I went in to the location and asked to speak with the hiring manager. I sat down with him at his desk and we began the interview. I did not apply online until after being offered the job. he explained to me the work hours and asked if i was willing to work split shifts.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Tell me about yourself. how would you sell personal training
The interview process was great. I had two interviews, but one could have been more professional than the other. The experience is overall bad because I was promised a position as an assistant manager but I was given a different position with a much lower pay.
Not really an interview at all. You get the job if you have consistent transportation pretty much. They go over pay and things like that. Really the interview is just a formality
Took about 15 minutes, asked simple questions. Anyone could get this job so long as you have a pulse. Pay offered was not great so did not stay with the company for very long.
