I applied in-person. I interviewed at LA Fitness (Chicago, IL) in May 2013
Interview
manager was hour late for interview. really cocky and arrogant. always walkng away, I had to keep callihng him because he didn't follow up. not very impressive the whole process was unprofessional. they have hard time getting top talent and keeping them because the company believes they can always replace with someone else. money may sound great but it's not realistic

It was fun! Just didn't like the script I had to memorize and the guy was a little crazy. He wanted me to get used to being brushed off by members of the facility.
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at LA Fitness (New York, NY) in Oct 2015
Interview
This was a very easy interview. I walked in after not hearing anything from the online application. i was asked if i had any background in sales. I was also asked how i would try to get someone to buy personal training that was currently working out (how i would attack the floor). After answering those i was offered the job.
