      Executive Assistant Interview

I interviewed at LCPtracker (New Braunfels, TX)

      Interview

Interviewed for an Executive Assistant position twice. The first was for the CFO. After the screening process, I was scheduled to interview with the CFO. The next day the meeting was canceled due to them offering the position to another candidate. After a few weeks I was contacted by HR yet again for consideration for another Executive Assistant role. After 3 interviews (one of which was called a final interview) I was asked to come in person for a final interview. Unfortunately, with my schedule I wasn't able to accommodate an immediate meeting. On a Wednesday, I was offering to be available Friday in Texas. They asked (from CA with no knowledge of the area or any of the employees) if I'd be available at 5pm that day, which didn't work for my schedule or traffic in the area. We scheduled for the following week on Wednesday. After about 20 minutes, I got a call from that same HR person that they've decided to move forward with another candidate. As disappointing as it was, it is clear that they just want a warm body in the role. Even after the skills test they requested I complete, I think it was a waste of time. There seems to be no consideration for skills, respect or for people's time. I was looking forward to meeting the CEO that works out of the Texas office, but I'm now thinking I dodged a bullet with this company.
