      Research Associate Interview

      27 Mar 2018
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Declined offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at LYNK

      Interview

Worst interview etiquette I've seen in a long time. Company scheduled a face-to-face interview with one of the senior leads and the person did not even show up! I wasted an hour of my time waiting for the interviewer to arrive, and had to reach out to HR on my own to find out what happened...turns out the interviewer "forgot" about the interview. I didn't receive an apology from the interviewer, just a brief apology from HR who then scheduled a phone interview instead with the same interviewer. Fast forward to the phone interview, it wasn't even the interviewer they specifically named in the email, it was someone completely different! They did not have the courtesy to explain why I was being interviewed by someone else nor an apology for the wasted time for the face-to-face. Would not recommend interviewing with them at all.

      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at LYNK (Philadelphia, PA) in May 2016

      Interview

Asked personal questions and also a company fit interview. Because I applied through the university and there was a time zone difference between the company and me, I did not have to do a case study. However, that is normally required of the interviewees. 3 cases will be presented and they will have to answer questions from the interviewer.

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at LYNK (Hong Kong) in Nov 2015

      Interview

5 Rounds of Interview with a case study presentation. Round 1 and Round 2 are more generic questions, round 3 is more specific as to why you really want to join this role and round 4 of the case study gives you an insight into what the role is actually like.
