Interview
The process took 1-2 weeks. First call was from their recruiter, simple and easy screen call, I mean kind of waste of time because of the result but anyway, he had me chat with the CTO. He called and asked me so irrelevant questions for the position. He wanted opinions and ideas how I would manage upgrades without downtimes, changes on mysql, irrelevant to what the position described, typical person that has a mess, needs help but only wants to hear what he wants to hear. CTO unexperienced, "Engineering manager " that has been in developer position and was lucky someone trusted him to be a leader. Honestly, whoever applies for this job and has +10 years of experience as a Software Engineer would find out the CTO is clueless and lost.
Call with a recruiter, then an interview with an interviewer who asked a variety of questions regarding architecture and trivia. After that, probably virtual onsite with multiple coding rounds and a culture fit interview.
The interviewer came off as very rude during the interview. As soon as the call started, he was bombarding me with questions & trivia about different topics. There was no talking about my experience and what I'm looking for as a candidate. When I wanted to ask him questions, he said he had to go to a prior engagement, and that he didn't have a lot of time.
I thought this was very unprofessional and it left a bad impression on me.
