I applied online and was eventually contacted by staff to schedule an initial 30 min call with an interviewer. This was a basic introduction call. The company seems to be using deceptive practices of advertising a higher salary publicly, only to clarify in the interview that the salary is lower than what is posted. This process lacks integrity an reflects poorly on the company. I was invited for a second interview with somebody on the team to which I was applying. The interview went well by all accounts. I was later told I was not selected to proceed. No explanation was given, including after additional follow up for context was requested.
