I applied online. I interviewed at LearnCore (Chicago, IL) in Mar 2016
Interview
Had an initial phone screen with HR. She did most of the talking and seemed to answer her own questions, at times. Then had an in person interview with one of the Co-Founders. I don't think he had looked at my resume or cover letter prior to the interview as he seemed to be speed reading it for the first time in front of me. He also seemed to think it was a strike against me that I would be coming from a suburban company of 100-150 employees (as in that's too large of a company and it's not in the city). He seemed hung up on that a bit and that it was a big deal for me to have come into the city -- even though I live in the city. He also asked me a couple times why I wanted to leave my current (larger! suburban!) company.
I was never contacted again. I get that I wasn't who they wanted to hire, but have some common courtesy, please, and spend 3 minutes to type up & send an email saying thanks, but no thanks.
