The company recruited me. We spoke on the phone several times, and with part of their team in Bangladesh. They flew my fiance and I out for an in-person interview and to meet the team. Once there, I was briefed on the role and discussed it with several key people on the project. After that, everyone else in the company had a chance to drop by and ask questions to see if I was a good fit.
