I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Legal Services NYC (New York, NY) in Oct 2015
Interview
I had one interview with my future supervisor and a coworker in the same position. They mostly asked questions about how I'd work with difficult clients and how I'd handle a high case load. About a week later I had a very brief follow up interview with the same supervisor and the Program Director. They didn't ask me much, that was just a perfunctory meeting so the Director could sign off on me.

Question 1
How would you react if a client got very angry and started yelling at you during a meeting?

Interview
I've applied for and interviewed for two separate paralegal positions at LSNYC in the last two years. Quality of experience really depends on the unit. Both times I was invited for an interview very quickly. The first time they sent me what the scope of the interview would be and the questions stuck to the scope for equity purposes. I received a prompt rejection within about two weeks. The second time they did not send me the scope of questions--presumably in violation of their own equity standards?--and I never received any follow up including to my multiple follow up emails. Disappointed at how some folks find it hard to send a two sentence email
