I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at LegalZoom (Glendale, CA) in Feb 2016
Interview
2 rounds only.
1st on the phone with the hiring manager who is very biased on programming languages, but was convinced about my tech skills and knowledge.
2nd with 4 gentlemen as well as with that manager. 2 of them are technically, a white boarding on paper, simply and friendly. They also told me the new product has not been 100% reviewed, everything has been really slow.
2 days later my agency said they liked me and asked to check my managerial references before throwing an offer, it was during the weekend... after my last reference gave them call back on Monday noon... I received "Bad News" from my agent: LegalZoom will not move forward, even before LegalZoom hear feedbacks about my managerial references.
BTW, this opening that I applied for is still unfilled until today (Mar 7, 2016)
How pathetic you are, LegalZoom, cheap and disgusting.

I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at LegalZoom
Interview
- Recruiter call
- Take home coding test
- Manager Interview via zoom
Applied through an employee referral, was ghosted after Manager Interview. Sent multiple follow up emails to Recruiter and received no response.
Recruiter reached out and set up time to chat. They got busy and asked to reschedule last minute, it happens. Rescheduled and then the recruiter did not show, with no communication afterwards.

I applied through other source. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at LegalZoom (Los Angeles, CA) in Mar 2024
Interview
Got through all interviews, technical and non-technical. Somewhat easy interview questions but unprofessional. Especially the recruiter I worked with and one of the interviewers in particular. I was offered a mid level engineer job, had some back and forths, then by the time we agreed they came back and said the position was no longer available. Took so many weeks of back and forths. Just a bad experience.
