Interview
I had been looking forward to this interview. Legora is a company I genuinely admire, and I made a point of scheduling the conversation with enough lead time to prepare thoroughly and research the company in depth.
Unfortunately, the experience did not reflect the company's image.
The interviewer arrived late and was visibly overwhelmed from the start. It was clear from the first moment that she considered the conversation a burden rather than an opportunity. What was scheduled as a 30-minute interview lasted under 15 minutes. Very few questions were asked, and there was no real space for me to speak to my background or motivations.
I left without feeling I had been given a fair chance to be interviewed at all. For a company that holds itself to high standards and talks about valuing people, the candidate experience fell significantly short. I'd encourage Legora to ensure that those representing the company in interviews are present, prepared, and genuinely engaged, regardless of whatever else may be going on internally.
The role and the company still interest me. The process, however, was a disappointment.

Interview
There are four interview stages.
The first is with Human Resources, the second with the Lead Manager, the third is a demo presentation, and the fourth is with the Head of Legal Engineering.
The questions are mainly about how you would handle day-to-day work, communicate with clients about AI, and solve practical problems.
For this position, the interview focused much more on practical scenarios than on legal knowledge or the technical aspects of LLMs.
They ask what you think the position is and how you helped your client in the implementation of X tool .

It was 4 stage process, I progressed to case interview. However, I had only few days to test the product. While doing the case, I was expected to provide a complete demo to the imaginary client. But, how can you give good demo if you don't know how the product works and you only had access to it for few days. Anyways, informed after 5 days that I wasn't selected.
