Robotic recruiter screen over the phone, talked at me for 70% of the time -- could easily be replaced with AI or a pre-recorded message. I guess I was being judged by the sound of my voice, since no meaningful information was exchanged in the 7 minutes I spoke. No follow up questions, no acknowledgement that they were even listening... Maybe that was the point and they already had an internal candidate lined up? Why is the bar so low everywhere?
