SCAM - Don't interview with them
I got an email to solve a task and present the code. The email had the task description and the email said that if I have further questions I can ask them. I asked my questions regarding the task and there was no response. I didn't get a nice impression straightaway but I carried out the task somehow just to present my candidature. I gave them the solution of the task. Still there was no confirmation email. Then, after two weeks I wrote an email to ask my application status. Still no response.
If you can ask 72 hrs of a candidate to solve a task, cannot you invest 5 minutes to write an email. Very unresponsive people. Don't work here even if they offer you a position.

It consisted of creating a repayment plan of a loan.
I applied online. The process took 2+ months. I interviewed at Lendico (Berlin) in May 2021
Interview
The first meeting was with the recruiter. Then I received a code challenge. After I submitted it, I didn't get any feedback. After 10 ten days I followed up but no response. 2 weeks, 3 weeks but no response. After more than one month they said ok let's move to the next step, I asked about the late response, they didn't have anything to say. Finally the last interview was done. The final interview was just about security, nothing else. I know security is one of the important categories, but not everything. Anyway again there was no feedback. Many times I followed up, again after one month their response was NO.
Its a scam and I fell for it. Some days after applying for the position, All of a sudden I receive a Email asking me to solve a test. The test was to write a couple of REST apis, that provide the results of the loan calculation. It took me close to 2.5 hours to build the solution. On completetion I send it to the HR and Never heard from them back, even though I spent so many replies asking for the feedback they do not heed to respond back to you.
One fine day I get a response telling "we have decided not to take your application any further". On asking feedback the HR does not reply. So my suggestion to the future candidates will be to not waste time in solving their problem. Speak to them first and then think about doing it.

Question 1
You are expected to complete the following task within 72 hours of receiving the
assignment.
In order to inform borrowers about the final repayment schedule, we need to have pre-
calculated repayment plans throughout the life time of a loan.
To be able to calculate a repayment plan specific input parameters are necessary:
• duration (number of instalments in months)
• nominal interest rate
• total loan amount ("total principal amount")
• Date of Disbursement/Payout
These four parameters need to be input parameters.
The goal is to calculate a repayment plan for an annuity loan. Therefor the amount that the
borrower has to payback every month, consisting principal and interest repayments, does
not change (the last instalment might be an exception).
The annuity amount has to be derived from three of the input parameters (duration,
nominal interest rate, total loan amount) before starting the plan calculation.
