I was initially contacted via email for an interview with the CEO, which was a promising start. During the meeting with the CEO, I found him to be quite pleasant. However, the process took an unexpected turn when I was invited for a second interview, lasting five hours, with the executive team or senior management. Despite investing my time and effort into this extended interview, I never received any communication from the company afterward. This lack of follow-up, after several weeks of waiting, struck me as highly unprofessional. This experience confirmed some negative impressions I had heard from a previous employer who had cautioned me about the company's reputation. Unfortunately, my firsthand encounter aligned with their assessment. The company seemed to foster an unprofessional and cost-cutting atmosphere, which was evident in the state of their network system. Additionally, the compensation offered was notably low. What further added to my disappointment was the expectation that employees should possess a broad skill set encompassing both IT knowledge and programming skills for tasks such as creating rudimentary programs for cost-saving purposes. In summary, my experience with this company left me with the impression that they prioritize hiring employees at a low cost over maintaining a professional and respectful work environment. Ultimately, I am relieved that I did not receive a call back from them.
