I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Life Time (Vaughan, ON) in May 2018
Interview
Was sent an email to attend a job fair at the Life Time Fitness Athletic in Vaughan on a Saturday from 1-2:30 pm. Wrote my name on a list and waited 3 whole hours for my interview. Was interviewed by the head manager of the Life Time Cafe department. Was told I passed for second interview for Monday and that I have to memorize the Life Time Model by then. I was very excited to work a new bartender position, especially in their nice facility. I emailed the manager who interviewed me on Saturday and Sunday night, asking when to come in and where to find this model to memorize (did not find it on the website). He did not respond back to me nor did he reach out to me with information. I called but was not able to get a hold of him. Overall very unprofessional, especially near the end of the interviews he started interviewing 2+ individuals as he spent an hour on each interview. There had to be a total of 20+ people at the least. I was interviewed alongside two other individuals that also were said to be given a second interview.
Interview questions [2]
Question 1
What do you plan to do after university and where do you see yourself?
Applied online and heard back less than a week to then attend a hiring fair to be interviewed first come first serve. Arrived and signed into a sheet with others on the list to check in. I was given a paper to write basic info and it had interview questions on the back. Manager was super quick and easy to talk to! Only had one interview and the process took over a month. Just practice situational questions and respond in a clear and upbeat/friendly manner and you'll get the job!
Interview questions [3]
Question 1
Can you tell me about a time that you went above and beyond to help someone? How did you make an authentic connection with that person? What did you learn from that experience?
Tell me about a time when you had to learn on your own to get up to speed. How did you do that? How did you engage with others in order to be successful?
Give an example of when you worked collaboratively with others to accomplish an important goal. What was the goal or objective? What was your role in achieving this objective? What went well? What could you have improved on?

I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Life Time (Houston, TX) in Mar 2022
Interview
It is a basic behavioral interview. It's not too formal. Just look put together and you'll be fine. There are two interviews. One with the manager and then one with the general manager of the gym.
