I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Life Time (Phoenix, AZ) in Nov 2012
Interview
Three interviews. First, the department head. Second, your team leader within the personal training department. Lastly, the General Manager of the club.
A very easy interview process, especially meeting the GM. The department head is only looking to get more people onboard and actually will sell you on the position. If it doesn't work out they just hire a replacement. Turnover is crazy in this industry.

Question 1
The "most difficult" questions come from your team leader who will take your through the club's "training solutions" consultation in order to get to know you and how your versed in health and fitness. They might also ask for your expertise on program design or nutrition.
Wonderful, straight to the point of they already can see you in the team, very friendly team, beautiful establishment and good work opportunity overall, just have to put in the work
I applied in-person. I interviewed at Life Time (Dallas, TX) in Nov 2025
Interview
Pretty direct. Practical questions and historical experience and how it would contribute to LifeTime. It was also more like a conversation rather than an interview. A very kind but direct conversation
Pretty straightforward interview process, first a get to know you interview and then a practical leading my future manager through a workout based on different goals and complications they presented.
