I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Lightspeed in Dec 2024
Interview
Since the very first screening call, the experience was great. The recruiter made the screening process so easy I felt it was a regular conversation with a friend. They asked pertinent questions and kept me on the loop throughout the whole recruitment process.
Even when at first I did not get the position, they were transparent about it. I had multiple job interviews in the past but I never had this great of an experience with any other company. At first I did not get the position, but they assure me that if anything came up I would be contacted and they followed through with their word. To be honest, there was nothing I could consider even consider negative about the recruitment process and I really appreciated this. All in all, this was the best interview process I have experienced.

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Lightspeed (Montreal, QC) in Nov 2021
Interview
The interview process took 2 weeks in total, and was made of 4 interviews of about an hour each. As mentioned by other candidates on Glassdoor, it is not stressful and feels like a conversation, it's really about checking if there s a fit or not.
The first interview was a HR screening, the second a computer-based technical interview (not difficult), the third one was about checking my skills with several role-plays (to check how the candidate would interact with the clients), and the last one a cultural interview (to check how the candidate would interact with the team).
The final answer was given over the phone.
The team seems very professional yet friendly, there are lots of questions, but no tricky ones that could make a candidate feel unease, so it seemed they really wanted to see if there would be a win-win by giving a job offer
