Short phone screen, one interview. sent follow up emails never heard back from anyone... for a month. Then I get an offer out of the blue, flattering but I don't think I'll take it.

Interview
Standard screening, interview with multiple team members, followed by senior manager rounds.
Unorganized set of questions, inexperienced line of questioning. I did not understand one of the interviewers. Nice people and friendly.
Their responses made me think that they were not sure of what they wanted and were not ready to hire.

Question 1
Most interviewers were too deep into their day jobs to ask anything outside of what they do. Their env could be interesting but sounded unorganized, with tech debt so you may spend a lot of time on that if given an offer.
I have been a Java developer for 12 years, and C++ developer for over 20 years. They did not ask anything complex. General queuing/frameworks/networking etc.
