I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at LiveRamp (Seattle, WA) in Sept 2019
Interview
LiveRamp has set a standard for how interviews should be conducted.
There were two pre-screen interviews. One with a recruiter for general aptitude and interest, the second with somebody that has a similar job title to get a little more background information. Both pre-screen interviewers were very friendly and asked great questions. That will be the theme for the rest of this review.
After the pre-screening was complete, I received the go ahead for an in-person interview. The interview would be in their office and the interview itself would be conducted using teleconferencing methods. The interview was a little around 3 hours with 5 different people about 30 minutes each. I've been through many interviews in my time and I can easily say this was the most pleasant experience I've had. Everybody was very friendly, open and knowledgeable on the company. They really sold me on the company culture and I am extremely impressed with how they conduct business. The people in the office were also very friendly and definitely helped calm the interview jitters.
The questions were challenging and allowed me to discuss my workplace philosophy in detail. The type of questions that would help somebody see if a candidate would be a great workplace asset and a culture fit. At certain points during the call it no longer felt like I was being interviewed and felt more like I was having a conversation on what makes a workplace environment function.
Quick note: One of the recruiters I had been working with sent me a coupon code for coffee before the in-person interview. That was extremely thoughtful and I've never had that happen before, such a great gesture!
Quick note 2, the sequel: I'm marking no on the "Did you get an offer" field as no. I wanted to post the review while the memory was fresh and I'm waiting for their final decision which should be in a few days. Will update the review once that happens.
Thank you
