I applied online. I interviewed at Lone Star Legal Aid (Bryan, TX) in Mar 2019
Interview
Contacted immediately for interview with managing attorney and actually interviewed by managing attorney within days. The interview went great but he has no authority to offer job. So then was asked to interview with “hiring committee” and within the week went to downtown Houston to interview. Went great and when finished was told there was no reason that I should not expect an offer. Two weeks later and still no word and when pushed was told that “the hiring committee has decided to interview other applicants and was not moving forward with my application.” Was very shocked. I’ve been practicing 30 plus years and would be an excellent resource for legal aid
