For me it was a quick and easy process you have two interviews. One with a manager and then the GM came over and interviewed me. Basic questions. I don’t have any experience and that was okay. The business is up and down obviously on school breaks and evenings it’s a lot more busy. But I also didn’t mind working the lunch shift because you can talk more with people and get regulars with quality service. You also have people wanting to be in and out because they are on a timed lunch break. Pretty simple
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Why do you think you would be a good fit for Longhorn.
I applied online. I interviewed at LongHorn Steakhouse (Saint Clairsville, OH)
Interview
Filled out an application via an AI chat feature, very impersonal and basic questions with 1 word answers.. apparently the whole point of it was to find out my personality type
I applied in-person. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at LongHorn Steakhouse (Cincinnati, OH) in Jun 2025
Interview
Really fast + felt a little unwelcomed since the manager just looked at me with a straight face the entire time , and they said they would get back to me in a week and I never even received an email. If corporations have you come in for an interview the least they can do is email you back declining or not. Waste of time
I interviewed at LongHorn Steakhouse (Norridge, IL)
Interview
Question about your experience, how would you handle customer service related situations and your availability. In general, nothing too challenging, will be done in about 30 minutes, you can communicate with the managers later for any schedule change.
