I applied through other source. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Lookout (San Francisco, CA) in Dec 2010
Interview
I get call from their HR who asked me to sent him my resume (he probably found me on Monster). I had 1:1 phone interview with their lead scientist. He asked me some programming question, e.g. how to sort arrays, and screened me how much I know about how antivirus and malware protection - not much BTW, though I am security expert in other areas. Questions were reasonable for phone interview which normally is just screening process. I agreed on interview because I thought it would be interesting to learn new technology and expand my security related expertise. On the other hand I had reservations also because it is a small start up which develops mostly free SW (for cell phones) and comparison on the web against similar products from well known competitors who sell more advanced product for money were not very good. But then again it is always more fun to work for small company where you have more responsibility and appreciated more. After phone interview I did not hear from them again.
