Thank you for the feedback. The salary range for the position was provided to you during the interview process. Further, the job offer provided to you was in the salary range that you had requested.
Your response to our offer was a request for a salary that was much higher than the salary range previously communicated. Your request was beyond our budget, in conflict with our pay equity scale and analysis, and a departure from our communication in your interview.
We had many qualified candidates that were satisfied with the stated salary range, and we decided to go in another direction.
