I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Lucid Motors (Newark, CA) in May 2019
Interview
Contacted by recruiter on Linkedin. Phone interview was easy, 30 min and invited to on-site. On-site interview itself was not difficult, resume based and a few questions about line balancing, OEE etc. If you have a few years of industry experience you would be able to get through this. Recruiter called back next day saying they had positive feedback and would officially confirm the following week and had preliminary discussions on other factors of employment. There was a certain area of disagreement (not financial), recruiter said they would discuss with management and get back, Did not hear back after that. Unprofessional in that sense, even if they couldn't give a positive response it is a professional courtesy to let a candidate know of the final decision.

Interview
Short screening call with recruiter followed by a 30 min call with the hiring manager. Hiring manager was 6 minutes late to the interview, initially had a bad connection leading to more wasted time (Zoom call), and then throughout the interview I was cut off mid answer a few times. Attempted to leave right at the end of the original allotted 30 minutes for another meeting but I had questions that I was going to get answers to at the very least. Overall he looked very disinterested from the beginning. Received an email after saying they wouldn’t be moving forward as expected and they would be sending me a candidate experience survey shortly, which never came, thus prompting me to write this review.

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Lucid Motors in Aug 2024
Interview
The interview process consisted of a screening call followed by 30 min call with Hiring Manager followed by 1 hour call with cross functional team. My HR rep (Curtis W.) was amazing; he kept me in the loop and was always responsive to emails/texts even when he did not have an update he would let me know. After the final interview instead of just sending an email he chose to give me a call and provide feedback on why they would not be moving forward. My interview experience with Lucid Motors was wonderful because of him. Thanks a lot and props to your good work.
