We pride ourselves in having a professional (and equitable) workflow in place during our recruiting process but we are not perfect. We do reach out to candidates via LinkedIn when skills sets / experience are a potential match and do ask candidates to apply if they are interested in learning more. We do also receive several hundred resumes (even over a thousand sometimes) when we open a position at Lulu, but we do communicate with each candidate. The interview process, including the initial screen, determine whether the candidate moves forward in the process and are transparent about the role, what the hiring team is looking for, and the length of our recruiting process. We do respond to each and every candidate regardless of outcome and make an effort and review each application during (and after) the interview process of all candidates to ensure this. We utilize an applicant tracking system that does filter through to spam when communicating with candidates from time to time, so please be sure to check that folder as well. Any determination may have been caught by a spam filter, which has happened in the past, although infrequently. Always feel free to email / call us directly, as we do communicate transparently with candidates as well and share how to contact us as we don't hide our email addresses or phone numbers.
