I interviewed with the hiring manager the day after a holiday. He gave Ben Stein vibes with his seeming disinterest and cold demeanor. He asked questions regarding things I'd already provided the answers to, and I left the interview feeling that I would not want this guy to be my boss. I never sent a thank you and didn't expect to hear back, until I got an automated email saying my next interview had been scheduled. No reach out, no request to schedule at a time convenient for me, nada. Totally bizarre. I declined the opportunity.
