I applied through university. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Lutron Electronics in Oct 2017
Interview
Met with an on campus recruiter, heard back a week later for a phone interview. Talked about an hour regarding different engineering questions. No personality questions- all technical. Talk about the stress strain curve, manufacturing processes, heat transfer, etc.

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Lutron Electronics in Sept 2025
Interview
Interview was around 1 hour long and, although it was not mentioned before, was a technical interview. The interview itself was relatively candid and a pleasant experience. It involved drawing on a digital whiteboard and answering engineering-related questions.

Question 1
Modes of heat transfer? Ex. Describe the heat transfer from a coffee cup
It was smooth, just had to be verbal and precise with responses. Be ready to answer questions that would put you in specific scenarios and how you would adjust and adapt to the situation.
I applied through university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Lutron Electronics (Bethlehem, PA) in Jan 2023
Interview
Highly technical, quite intense & felt like if I had made a mistake, that was it for me in the process. Got the feeling that it didn’t matter who i was as a person or if I would fit at Lutron.
