Interview
The interviewers are nice, but there’s still room for improvement. And compare to the salary, what they require for this role are too much. And for people that meet their requirement will not satisfied with the salary. That's the problem.
I had a 30-minute phone interview with the Director of Engineering. The interview was mostly focused on culture fit questions, with no technical questions asked.
However, when I asked about the next steps and when I could expect to hear back from the team, the Director expressed confidence that he would get back to every candidate he interviewed. Unfortunately, his words fell flat when I never received a follow-up email or update on my application. It's frustrating to feel disregarded and left in the dark after investing time in an interview.
While the Director's lack of follow-through is disappointing, I'm left wondering if this is a reflection of the company's overall approach to communication and respect for candidates' time. As someone who values professionalism and transparency, this experience has left a sour taste.
I hope future candidates will have a more positive experience with this company, but for now, I'll be taking my talents elsewhere.

Interview
Interviewer asked text book definitions of technical concepts looking at another screen, obviously using ChatGPT with zero human interaction, it was a memory test impossible to get right. Knew from entering the interview the organization was going to ghost.
