Started off with some pre-recorded questions. For the degree apprenticeship program, these questions weren’t technical, but questions about ones character and ethics. Following this, I sat a group exercise followed by an individual interview. The group exercise allowed me to meet fellow candidates and work as a team, of which I’ll be working with some of the other candidates! The individual interview was with a member of my chosen department. They had a set list of questions, to ensure each interview is fair, and an opportunity at the end to ask any questions or make any more comments. Overall my interviewer was informative and friendly, exactly what you hope an interviewer to be like.
