I was approached on LinkedIn regarding this role. I agreed to talk to them to find out about their projects to see if it could interest me at all while the possible compensation could potentially justify changing jobs. Despite having a lot of seniority and successes in this field, instead of focusing on what matters (my experitise), I was asked by the recuiter to do a school programming task (ca 30 mins) which was unrelated to the role I agreed on talking about (data science & ML != basic python programming). Meanwhile, the timeslot for interview ended and my questions remained unaswered. In the end, I was given a "no" without any justification / further feedback. To conclude, the culture seems to be lacking at this company, at least in the recruitment process.
