Wonderful interview. People were friendly and warm. Knew instantly that it would be an excellent work environment! Offered a job right away and hardly had time to interview anywhere else.

Very difficult presentation questions. People were very insightful and asked detailed questions about my PhD work. Knew very quickly how to assess the heart of an issue and really grilled my work. Loved it!
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at MIT Lincoln Laboratory (Lexington, MA) in Sept 2018
Interview
Group reached out to me very quickly after submitting application (within 1 week), and scheduled an interview the following week. The interview was a half-day on-site interview with the group. During the interview, I met with HR to discuss the Lab's logistics (security clearance, organizational structure) and benefits. I gave a 1-hour technical presentation to the group on my related work. I then had a series of small-group and individual interviews with members of group, which varied from discussions about my presentation, a hypothetical case study problem, and a technical breadth examination.
Interview questions [2]
Question 1
Technical breadth examination included basic competency questions on mechanical engineering (statics and dynamics), computer science (algorithms, control, data structures), and electrical engineering (circuits, analog and digital signal processing).
