I applied for the student program back in early June and I received an email requesting a phone interview with HR in late July. After some basic questions with HR, they paired a department that would be a good fit for my resume. I then heard back for a second interview with the head of a department. I thought I had a great offer, but I am waiting to hear back from HR wether I got the job or not. I ma kind of confused on the whole process. There are a lot of different departments, but you don't chose one. They chose one for you. Considering my resume, I thought I would have got a different department, but I would be happy with any of them.

Quick phone call with a recruiter, low stakes and low pressure. It was a very informal conversation and I had the chance to ask a lot of questions. I'm not sure if this was a formal first step of the interview process or not.
