Worked with a third-party recruiter, so the process was pretty straightforward. After an intro call, they sent my info to the MM team and set up two interview rounds plus a test project. I met with the Art Director, questions were mostly about my design process and experience.
I completed the test and was meant to present it to the CMO, but the interview was canceled. They later asked for revisions and canceled again. A few days later, the recruiter said they went in a different direction. I’ve since seen some of my test layouts used in their marketing, so it felt like they were fishing for ideas, just something to keep in mind.
