I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Maimonides Medical Center (New York, NY) in Mar 2016
Interview
I had an interview at first with the head of recruitment. She asked tough questions but it was not as bad as I thought. 2 weeks later I was asked to come back to meet with the Nurse manager on a specific floor. She did not ask me any questions, just showed me around and made it seem like I got the job- I did not.

Question 1
What was my experience as a nurse? What were my challenges?
Screened by recruitment, followed by an interview with unit manager. Discussed the institution, her background; and my experience first. Very direct interview questions such as “tell me about yourself,” followed by nursing theory questions.

Question 1
Tell me a time when you handles a stressful situation
The interviewer was very friendly. It was not an intimidating experience for a new graduate nurse and it felt more like a relaxed conversation. I was able to answer her questions without fear and with confidence.
