When I attended a digital marketing interview, the process started with submitting my resume online. After a few days, I received a call from the HR department for an initial screening interview. During this round, I introduced myself, talked about my educational background, skills, and why I wanted to build my career in digital marketing. The HR interviewer also asked about my strengths, salary expectations, and knowledge of the company.
After clearing the HR round, I was invited for a technical interview with the marketing team. In this stage, the interviewer asked me questions about SEO, social media marketing, Google Ads, content marketing, and email campaigns. I was also asked how I would increase website traffic and improve social media engagement. I explained some digital marketing projects and campaigns I had worked on and shared the tools I used, such as Google Analytics and Canva.
Next, I was given a practical assignment where I had to create a small social media marketing strategy for a product. This test checked my creativity, communication skills, and understanding of digital marketing trends. Finally, I attended the last round with the marketing manager, where we discussed my career goals, teamwork abilities, and how I could contribute to the company’s growth. After successfully completing all the rounds, I received positive feedback and was selected for the role.
