I applied in-person. I interviewed at Manse on Marsh (San Luis Obispo, CA) in Sept 2015
Interview
The interview process made me feel like I immediately became part of a family of great people......EXCEPT!!! Once I was welcomed in and made queen in my comfort zone, I was privately slandered in a malicious way, and fired, because the people who run this place actually run a den of lies, secrets and private bullying that was never, ever revealed until the time came to strike their victim. DO NOT BUY INTO THE SMILING, WELCOME WORDS. If you don't want to take my word for it, just experience it for yourself. I was not the only one they did this to.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
"Tell me something about yourself you think I don't know"----it was all fun and games then. It got scandalous later.
Laid back and making small talk with the head chef. He asked me how I got into cooking and what kind of experience I had working in kitchens. Once he had decided that I was suitable for the position, he did a lot of talking about his own journey through the culinary world.
It was a fun interview and I enjoyed my time working at the Manse on Marsh with my particular head chef
