Mapbox Software Development Engineer (SDE) II interview questions

Interview process consisted of 4 parts: - HR call with discussion of my previous experience. — Home assignment with using of Mapbox SDK. It was relatively easy to do and in fact can be done quite fast. I spend couple of evenings. - Technical Competency & Scope of Influence. In this call I have two meetings: first with two engineers from the team. During this call I was asked question regarding my experience in Web development and also was asked broad question like "Imagine that you need to develop...". In second part I had interview with my engineering manager and it was mainly behavioral interview with questions like: "Could you tell the last time when you had conversation with the customer, or got some feedback which you evolved to feature/improvement in your product". - System Design & Operational Excellence. In this meeting I have classic system design conversation with two engineers regarding map-related imaginary task with question to evolve solution and open discussion about possible alternatives and details of suggested one. After this task they asked me about my experience in software architecture. All parts were arranged during week, feedback was given already during the next weeks, so procedure was quite fast.
