I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Mariano's in Dec 2017
Interview
All I got was a dead-end experience and my time wasted. I applied through their website, and within a day or two, I got a phone call from the manager (at least I'm assuming he was the manager). He asked me if I was still looking for a job, and when I told him yes, he asked about my availability and then proceeded to tell me that someone from their bakery section would get back to me sometime by the next day. Haven't heard anything from anyone since then, and it's been at least three weeks now. If you know you're not even going to consider me for the job, then don't waste my time calling me back out of the hundreds (or even thousands) of other people vying for that same position. Just leave me alone and free to search for another place that is more worthy of my time.

Interview
The woman I interviewed with was friendly, and we just sat down at the dine-in area and she asked me questions off of a white packet sheet that they use. They were your basic interview questions (describe a time you went above and beyond for a customer, etc.), and it was done in a short amount of time.

Q: Describe a time you went above and beyond for a customer
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Mariano's (Chicago, IL)
Interview
I submitted my application months earlier and got a call back. I waited about half an hour to be seen, my interview took about 45 minutes because I was getting along well with my interviewer, I met the store manager afterwards and was hired on the spot. Brought back a week later for training.
