Phone Interview - Recruiter seemed to be just going through the motions, didn't really try to get to know me or see how I would fit with company or what my attributes are. I have strong sales background and I am looking for a change in industry but he really didn't seem to care and was more concerned that I had a general interest in real estate rather than specifically mortgages. I don't know it was a bit confusing...mortgages are a part of the real estate umbrella so I wasn't sure where he was going with that.

Interview
30-minute phone screen. The recruiter sent job description (expectations) prior to the interview which included a confirmation that candidates would be followed up with after 5 business days.
Interview was casual and included standard scenario-based questions.
Recruiter reiterated that candidates would be contacted (hired or passed) within 5 days.
Ghosted after 2 weeks and multiple follow-up emails.

Interview
Phone call with recruiter, phone call with HR manager, phone call with VP that included scenario questions and an honest conversation about expectations, job shadow. After my conversation with the VP it was clear the responsibilities didn't fit what I was looking for and I had to withdraw my name from the process. Everyone was so great and informative and I appreciated them taking the time to really educate me so it wasn't a shock on day one.
