I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at MarketLauncher in Mar 2014
Interview
I applied and I received an email with a request to answer approximately 20 in depth questions on a questionnaire. After spending 3 hours on the questionnaire, I returned it. An phone interview was set up for 3 weeks later. After the 1 hour phone interview, I was told to send over 3 references and examples of my work. I was then told I would be sent instructions on excel testing and personality testing. After not hearing anything back for a week, I followed up. They told me they were still contacting references. Another week passed, and I still heard nothing. Approximately 2 months after I spent 3 hours on the questionnaire, I emailed asking if I was still be considered. I received a canned response saying "I have no information for you, the process is lengthy". At this point, I'm no longer interested in working for this company. It is extremely inconsiderate to not give someone the professional courtesy of keeping them informed and I don't appreciate it after putting so much time into an application and interview process. It is just downright rude and unprofessional. Additionally, everytime I would follow up, I got the "Oh, I was just about to contact you!" My advice to the actual hiring person... Your assistant needs additional training....she is doing a bad job as the face of your company.
