I recently went through the recruitment process for the Regional Internal Communication Senior Specialist position at Marsh McLennan. The process started in July and included three interviews and one assignment until October. Throughout the process, I was excited about the opportunity and received positive feedback, which led me to believe an offer was forthcoming.
However, the final decision, communicated 4 months later in October, was that they selected another candidate.
While I appreciate the time spent and the opportunity to meet the team, the experience highlighted a lack of clear communication and transparency throughout the process. I had expected a higher level of professionalism given the company's reputation.
