      Teacher Interview

      9 Oct 2016
      Anonymous employee
      Columbus, OH
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through university. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at MathWizard (Columbus, OH) in Oct 2016

      Interview

Standard application with references needed. Interviewed by 2 people from HR about experience, scenarios, where I see myself in the future, why I am interested, etc. 3 page math and 3 page English assessment to see what levels I would be able to teach. That entire process took almost 3 hours on a Friday. They called back Monday with results and what hours/locations would be available. I agreed with availability so they continued by calling references. They emailed next day with an employment offer. Next steps were paperwork, week of unpaid class (for me 10hrs) observations and 4 hour orientation.
