I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at MathWorks (New York, NY) in Mar 2016
Interview
Applied online, was contacted in 2-3 weeks by the recruiter. Had an initial HR phone screen with basic questions about projects. Was then asked to complete 2 HackerRank 30 minutes coding tests. After clearing this, had a phone interview with recruiter.
OA, then 2 rounds of interviews. First round asked me a few behavioral and walk me through your solution to one of the OA problems. I got cut after the first round. Interviewer seemed disinterested.
The interview process was very pleasant and welcoming. The team was professional, approachable and made the experience feel comfortable rather than stressful. There were no unexpected or overly difficult questions, just a smooth and engaging conversation
On hire-value, a web that records your answers. Not difficult. You have three practice questions, and each can go for twice and not be recorded, just to check your usage.
