I walked in and spoke with the manager. She had me speak with the night ops manager. He toured me around the store covering responsibilities and questioning my work history. He seemed satisfied and offered me the job. I completed several training tests and a few days of work under supervision and was from then on left to my own devices.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Maverik (Wheatland, WY) in May 2023
Interview
I recently applied for the position of adventure guide with Maverik and had a fantastic interview experience. The manager noticed me while I was shopping in the store and knew I applied, so she scheduled the interview right then! The atmosphere was welcoming, and the conversation felt natural. I was offered the job during the interview and accepted it that day. Overall, it was a positive and efficient process.
I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Maverik (Boise, ID) in Jan 2019
Interview
Quick and painless process. Two interviews and filling out a survey and doing a background check. Basic questions and answers with scenarios explaining your actions. Paperwork took the longest time. Nothing special stood out.
I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Maverik (Logan, UT) in Sept 2017
Interview
The interview process was different from previous interviews I have had. Ingot a call back really quick about being accepted to the second interview and then received my employment phone call not long after that.
