I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Maverik (Burley, ID) in Jul 2011
Interview
Short, sweet and to the point. I was already acquainted with the staff so they knew and trusted me. I knew that they were short staffed and went in and asked for an application, the manager asked me when I could start and I told him that I could start right away. He had me fill out the application so that it would be available in my employee file and told me when to be there the next day to begin work. I was simple.
I was nervous but my interviewer made me feel calm and welcome. Very friendly. Even the guy I spoke to while I waited for the interviewer, offered me a drink while I waited since I was so early.
was asked basic questions, as well as presented scenarios and asked how id respond to them. asked for strengths and weaknesses. pretty average interview. Met outside on a bench with the store manager. Applied in person
